At the Organic Smokehouse we pride ourselves on the quality of our products and only source the highest quality sustainably harvested Organic Atlantic salmon. Our salmon fillets are firstly dry cured by hand in sea salt for several hours before being rinsed then strung through the tail. They are then left to settle and air dried for 24 hours. The fish are then transferred to the smokers where they are slowly and gently cold smoked for about 30 hours at ambient temperature. Next they are chilled prior to being hand-trimmed, hand-sliced and packed. The end result is a smoked salmon of the finest quality, where the sweetness of the oak smoke compliments the delicate natural flavours of the salmon. We strongly believe that the smokiness should be an addition to, rather than a substitute for, the flavour of the main ingredient.

Hand-sliced, hand-cured & hand filleted Organic Atlantic Smoked Salmon

Sourced from trusted organic salmon farmers in Scotland, Norway and Ireland, our Organic Smoked Salmon has a delicate texture and flavour. Free from all artificial additives this clean, pink Atlantic salmon has been hand salted, cured and then traditionally wood smoked, using methods introduced by our founder, over 30 years ago. Increasingly popular, this tender and mouth-watering fish is a welcome addition to any table.

Ingredients: Organically farmed Atlantic Salmon. Sea Salt, Smoke from oak chippings. Sea salt and oak chippings are non-organic ingredients.
Allergy Advice: Contains FISH.
Storage: Store unopened and refrigerated at 1° - 5°C. Consume within 3 days of opening pack.
Freezing: Freeze on day of purchase and consume within 3 months. Defrost thoroughly and use within 24 hours. Once thawed do not refreeze.
Safety: Although care has been taken, this product may contain small bones.
